If someone comes to you and says "I have proven the Riemann hypothesis", will you believe them, or think them a crank?

If something comes to you and says (in effect) "I am The Singularity", will you believe it?

The "abundance means money is meaningless" is obviously complete BS. If that was true, AI would not be seen as a path to vast individual or institutional wealth.
