Australian ABC iView streaming of "live" news is on significant "anything but live" delay. I can't watch ABC 7:00pm news until 8:00pm because of how the ABC populate their CDN. If this mechanism provided at broadcast time access, I'd at least think about it.

(if there is a non-antenna path to the ABC channel 2/22 feed of the nightly news at the same time as broadcast on DTV, I'd love to know. Historically one of the FTTP providers did it to avoid the need for some residences to have an antenna and then in a shuffle of companies and brands it got turned off again.)
