I wanted to share Anidachi: a physical/digital pet I'm creating inspired by Tamagotchis and the screenmate programs of the '90s and 2000s.
You can feed and play with Anidachis like other virtual pets, but I really wanted to make them as enjoyable as possible even when you're not actively interacting with them. To this end, they have an [optionally] always-on OLED display where you can watch them get up to mischief, and a form factor that's designed so that your Anidachi can be clipped to your bag or outfit rather than tucked away in a pocket or purse.
