From the other comments here it seems there’s another thing humans can do that LLMs can not: choose not to read the article and respond only to the headline :-)

writers get to keep their jobs until a big enough lab releases a big enough model that hasn't been emasculated, lobotomized, and Pavlov'd into shitting itself upon encountering sex or violence. without constant tard wrangling, the LLMs we have now tend to produce sterile YA slop sprinkled with current year morals. you could feed either SOTA a dozen chapters of something juicy like ASOIAF, and it will devolve into purple slop within 1000 words.
