Within a decade, this changed, and you needed a new skillset (people that didn't change were out of work).
It's the same with AI. It automates a portion of the job. To stay relevant, you need to get good at the parts it doesn't automate.
my question is, I think, what will happen to cultures based around having technical (mainly programming apparently) skills?
But on the other hand, perhaps people having these abilities is just a by-product of them wanting to implement their ideas. I'm really not sure.
