    good, we have bike lanes where i live and its a complete waste of money, they are rarely used and are also in the worst places where a wider road would be better

      We have them where I live too, and their total cost per journey is about three per cent of what car journeys cost. (Total cost to the tax payer.)

      You don't need high occupancy to justify something when the alternative is thirty times as expensive.
