They kept this really quiet, I was expecting to have lost fable access when I got into work, only to discover it's just part of the plan.

Excellent news, and thank you to the enterprise customers for subsidising premium teams seats to such a large degree.

With recent competition announcements, I am surprised you're surprised. In fact, I was half expecting they'd include it in their regular Pro subscription.

GPT 5.6 is included in the €23 Plus plan.

Not sure how much use one can get out of it, but Fable 5 burned through the tokens on Claude Pro quite fast too during the promotion.

I wasn't especially surprised fable use was extended, but I was just surprised it was snuck out so quietly with no announcement.

Good news, and necessary to keep me on the MAX plan since Opus 4.8 is now 3rd best after Sol and Kimi 3 for SWE work.

The false cyber positives when doing normal coding tasks remain a big issue. They were not a big deal for weeks, as long as I stayed away from explicit hardening work or security audits, until recently.

They are a prime weakness for competitors to exploit.

On Max plans, premium seats on Team plans, and premium seats on legacy seat-based Enterprise plans, Fable 5 will be a standard part of your plan.

Bullshit. I'm on pro and can't use Fable anymore. Fable's gonna stay on top maybe a month or two more, and they want to loose customers like this? I really don't understand their strategy. I cancelled my pro, gonna try something else
