First post here, apologies for probably doing it wrong, but I built this as a mechanic and shop owner when i cut two of my fingers off last year(no worries, they're fully bionic and back haha) So I couldn't work in the shop, so I built this b/c I, and i know everyone who works on cars with a small shop or even a midas, HATES the paywalled big boys, ALLDATA, Mitchell1, MOTOR etc...so I built this db and resource. Yes claude helped me with some of the coding, but I do have the coding and infosec background I did for 7 years in a defense company env. Anyway, would love your feedback on the product. I keep it free, fund it partly out of pocket, partly from an api that I sell, which has been moderately succesful.I have a page explaining how the data is curated if you will: https://openlaborproject.com/data-provenance/ I even wrote that...impressed right? haha, so what this offers: 1. Free labor times, torque specs, fluid specs, battery specs, wiper specs, obd code information, a brand new quote builder, a free fix my car(AI) view and a ask a human expert section which is amazing, I personally got some of my best tech friends to participate and it's fantastic, b/c AI is actually kinda terrible at dignosing things deep level. I would really love your help and feedback to make it even better, thank you all so much in advance. I've been working on cars for 25 years, live and breath them, but love the tech potential of today to weave into the field. Sorry for the long ramble, thanks!!

      Super useful. Thanks!

As long as data is kept up to date... I've already benefited.

I'm in the market for a car. I wish there was a way my agents could input my requirements and make calculations specific to my needs, since most of this data is in your db.
