Just last week had Kimi recreate my Wordpress website step by step into plain HTML, a tiny amount of interactive JS, and a python script to send email from the contact form.

Of course it helped that I could reuse the assets, but the new site scores 99 on pagespeed, is one twentieth the size, and is no longer a bloated mess of plugins and addons with various PHP version issues. Now it’s git controlled, and rsync updates in under one second.

The website has gone from something I avoided and that grated on my engineer’s sense of efficiency to something I now see as a helpful tool.
