Those MOFs he discovered are the most amazing thing -- and you can make them just by mixing the ingredients and baking them in an oven. I'm not sure that he's quite talented enough to be a "national treasure", in fact he just tried something crazy that nobody believed would work and... it did.

But from the viewpoint of prestige, morale, and that kind of thing, they couldn't pick somebody better.

Crucial point is whether Tsinghua and others have figured out or already knows it in their bones "the hubris of middlemen--- who control pipeline (markets) between talent and (future) society"

Which to me smells like one (market-)failure mode of liberalism.

The hint to you is that you, PHoXXologist, needs to inject some tech into paganism's blessed heart. (ASCII fox ----for the identitarian masses?--- is sorta prototype btw) Otherwise paganism smella like nothin mo' than degrowth for its own sake, self-serving Ludditeanism

Blow the rich black man's God-fearin' socks off with shamanic MoF-baths, brother

Sorry if I sound like frontier LLM. Brain fog. Tends Markovian, which AI would've chunked. Really.

Oh, for the sub-paranoid ethno-evangelicals reading along: some millions of honorarier-than-thou-whiteys with native access to rareearths ---Turks, and CentralAsians,--- are more than willing to close one eye to Confucianism (don't underestimate the pre-Abrahamic Altai connection ?!)

So don't gripe about those F-3X, or throw out that Mughal cred/card. Yet.
