I’ve always enjoyed game nights, house parties, and those evenings where a group gets together with no real plan beyond eating, talking, and spending time together.
But I started noticing how often everyone would eventually drift back to their own phone.
Then, during one such game night, we played Charades together. The bad acting, ridiculous guesses, inside jokes, and arguments over obvious answers completely changed the mood and made the night far more memorable.
That experience gave me the idea for Who Goes?
It is a party game app built around one shared screen, with Charades, Headbands, Truth or Dare, and quick group games designed to get everyone playing together.
I built the app independently in SwiftUI, including the design, interactions, game flows, animations, and content. I also used SceneKit and shaders for some of the visual effects.
Who Goes? is now available on the App Store.
I’d love to hear your feedback, especially on the game experience, design, and any new modes you would like to see.
