* How does one qualify as an artist?
* Is this a back door for UBI, and if so does this make artists less critical of the government they are dependent on?
* Does this make artists more productive or not? (I am on the fence on this one.)
Charles Haughey introduced the Aos Dana scheme which gave government patronage to certain major artists (I know one of them). It is a double edged sword because like the Middle Ages where you had to get either church or state/noble patronage in order to be a major artist. If you annoy the government... Like UBI or digital ID, you can be potentially unfunded.
