For how long? A month? Forever?

I have to pay you MORE every month to have my identity verified and to see the metrics on my post?

$20/m seems awfully heavy for what many forums offer for free. Sure they've got advertisements, but my ad blocker is free, so... Most forums offer chronological sorting. Most forums offer verified status to users with a certain number of posts or upvotes for free. Lots of forums allow you to see how many people clicked on your posts for free.

Worse, you've got the same clause that every other platform has that allows them to kick people which kind of goes against your "built after the ban" branding: "5. Content Policy You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. This allows you to ban paying customers for publically disagreeing with you or publically questioning your decisions or for almost any reason at all. All you have to do is claim that the user violated clause 5 because the content they were posting was "otherwise objectionable" which is just legalese for "someone in power didn't like it".

This happens all the time in every digital community. This language gives you the legal leverage you need to ban anyone who says "the creators of skrrl are assholes" or "the recent decision to change moderation policy is abusive and goes against everything skrrl stands for". You can wave your hands with "oh but we'd never" all you want, as reddit and tumblr both did, but you cannot gaurantee any such avoiding abuse of power while that language stands in your favor. Why have the language that enables the behavior if you never intend to exercise such behavior?

Not really sure I see anything here enticing me to pay for any kind of benefit I'd be receiving in exchange for said payment.
