So we lost several US lives, $20B (at minimum), the strait is no longer free, and gas prices will be high for at least the next year. Get this man out.

Why is Iran’s control over the strait being legitimized? This “deal” is terrible. I prefer Trump seeking regime change and Kharg island given how far this avoidable conflict has come already. Otherwise what was even the point? Making Iran a secular democracy would be a huge win though.

Are you willing to go through a worldwide recession, pay hundreds of billions and sacrifice thousands of lives in the hope of getting success out of Trump and Netanyahu's blunders?

Until the US is as drone warfare dominant as it is in other areas, it can't dictate terms to Iran.

If we recall our history, it was the US/UK going into Iran to seize the oil that resulted in the revolution. Doing that again doesn't seem like the best strategy.

At this point, Trump is under pressure to get some "deal" done and whatever it is can be sold to his base as a win, the rest of America and the World be damned.
