Author Here, this product targets tools like claude code, cursor, codex, because they ship a lot of tools, and those tools sometimes have secrets like API keys. This is a problem because if someone gets acsess to these tools, it can be a big problem.
If any keys are detected, it'll either block the request, or redact the key, so your info is secure.
