Been working on re-purposing nuc computers into a minimally viable homelab over the last 6 months. It has been a fun project, which began with recursive DNS and has now branched into local filesharing between two mirrored desktops in order to record, produce and release my podcast without reliance on always being online. Settled into Unison for managing my audio recording directory, plus spinning up Syncthing or KDE Connect for mobile access. Would love input, or any suggestions, for continuing to improve and develop this as an on-going series. A lot has happened, but want to relay it in a way that is easy to understand + implement at home by listeners.
