I feel the same for my personal side projects. I get a lot more done with than without ai. Still there's a never ending pile (not sure if a heap or a stack tbh) of work to do.
And regarding working as an employee: Basically the same. There's always more work to be done than can be done. ai increased the speed, but didn't solve the root cause.
As long as the number of working hours a person has to deliver are fixed, nothing will change. If the working outcome wasn't measured by "time invested" but rather by "amount of work done" and "quality of work delivered"; only then ai could help in reducing human working hours per time.
