Just my opinion of course but even if the aliens learned english and had a 4 hour interview with Joe Rogan I would just assume it is AI. The believers would continue to believe and we would be in the same place we were a decade ago. Perhaps it would start to get real if there were constant battles between the aliens and ICE resulting in a few aliens being locked up, agents being turned into goo and the military having to step in.
