New guidance from Anthropic indicates that SPVs and indirect sales of Anthropic stock "...that has not been approved by our Board of Directors is void and will not be recognized on our books and records". Specific private markets (Forge, Hiive, etc) are named directly.
Does Anthropic not just have right of first refusal? They seem to imply that any sale, purchase, or transfer of stock is actually impossible, which seems hard to believe.

They do. SPV transfers don’t usually involve a transfer of the underlying stock. Unfortunately, that lets bad actors represent to selling stock they don’t yet own.
