It’s bizarre how US constitution started with rights and they get slowly eroded away.
Abortion is not a state issue, it’s a medical issue between a woman and her doctor.
States and Federal laws have gotten more nosy. Less separation of church and state.

  The tendentiousness of your argument is fairly apparent - if Hitler’s mother had an abortion then the world would have been saved a huge amount of hassle.
