    Built a production SaaS solo over the last few months using AI heavily for code.

    The thing I understand very late is that the AI makes you fast, but it quietly erodes the instinct to read your own logs, understand your own stack, or know what to do when something breaks at night, and the tool isn't available.

    I started deliberately doing some things manually like reading deployments, checking logs without asking the AI first... Just to keep that instinct alive.

    The AI is way faster - 100%. But "faster" only matters if you can still function when it's not there...
