It's permissive license, which means it's dead Jim. Everyone using it will maintain their own forks privately. I work on contract with a once popular permissively licensed project. Every company has their own fork of the thing. All of them. They apply their one off patches and never worry about "the community" or whatever. Lots of little good ideas in areas they focus on, but nobody has the whole enchilada anymore.
