Doccupine is a CLI for generating documentation sites. Similar to Mintlify, but open source. You can fork it, self-host it, and keep everything on your own domain. We're monetizing with a hosted version that that includes a visual editor, team access and roles, custom domains, etc. Starts at $200/month.

The AI assistant integration is bring your own model. Plug in your OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google key with twelve models to start. MCP is supported out of the box. Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf (or whatever your team is using) can register that endpoint and query your docs as live context.

I'm one of two founders. No VC funding. We are bootstrapping this. Our goal is to provide highly responsive and personalized customer service (I will answer your emails and help you set everything up) along with continual improvements to the CLI and hosted features.

Give it a try and let me know what you think.
