Hi HN, I'm Ricky, and I want to introduce you to Andromeda. Andromeda is designed to make local AI mass-market ready, so that even people without any technical background can use it. It all started with me, as a vibe-coder, using Gemini daily to help me out on the side. Since I like to speak and Gemini constantly had dropouts with STT (Speech-to-Text), I built a small interface myself to use local models. I had used other tools before, but at that time they were way too complicated for me. So I kept tinkering with Andromeda. At some point, it got a bit out of hand and I realized how much time I had actually put into it. By now, I just love experimenting with AI. A newspaper in Germany even noticed me and wrote an article about me and Andromeda. Anyway, I have linked the current demo for you here. The Early Access is still in the works. Right now, I am focusing on implementing the model library. It is already mostly finished. I have also been working on a system where you can just drop files into the software. My goal is always to make Andromeda as intuitive as possible. You literally can't load the wrong model. Andromeda checks your system and protects you from that. Besides that, you can roughly see which model is best suited for what (this will be reworked again in the EA). Other than that, I'll just say: try it out, discover what Andromeda can already do, and have fun :)
