I have a friend who's dad thinks "solar is a scam, it doesn't work", nevermind the fact that every year when they go a race (Daytona, I think?) the son uses a large rechargeable battery and a solar panel to keep it charged they they use for their phones/tv/etc. Nope, still a "scam".
Between that and all the "the power grid can't handle everyone buying an electric car" or "electric cars actually take more non-renewables than ICE cars"-crowd I want to pull my hair out.
[0] aka, most manipulated (manipulatable?)
Blow the dad's mind with "the power grid can't handle the excess electricity generated on consecutive sunny days (yet)" [1]. (I'm partly kidding, because will he really believe it?)
