    This really sucks.

    I can see why they may not want to support such a niche feature but on the other hand I can't help feeling the hostility of this move.

      I think it is because it is used by unofficial (i.e. privacy providing and ad skipping) apps.

    This happens all of the time. It usually comes back in a few hours. But it has been very unreliable for the last week or two.

    A lot of people are doing this. Fandom (formerly wikia) has removed its RSS feeds as well.
