    If the legal stance is that clean room implementations are not derivative works, even if done using AI, I don’t see how adding a license clause would override that.

    You may as well include a clause saying that anyone who reads your license and is inspired to buy an actual ship grants you ownership of that vessel.

    I am pretty sure my phone does not run Linux. A lot of stuff is licensed under MIT, which is not copyleft. I could not care less about GPL.

      You could not care less what the copyright holders/owners of the code wish for that code? If we want to abolish copyright altogether, I'm game for that discussion, but since we have it, IMHO it should work for us ugly people too rather than just the beautiful people.
