The only thing people in power want more than money is more power. So if you ever hear they stopped authorizing these programs, it just means a more secret and powerful one replaced it behind the scenes.

PEople on HN love complaining about FISA but are oddly mute when its up for renewal or supporting a rare win like this where it's not automatically rubber-stamped for another X years.
