I've disliked the internet ever since Facebook. Since then it's been a downward spiral of closure and walled gardens.

I had it for the first year of university deleted it in 2009 when I discovered they had started using it for psychological experiments. And for a long time was exiled by everyone and everything because I didn't have facebook.

"OMG You don't have facebook, you're a red flag", a crush of mine once said.

Myspace was the last time I felt connected to the internet. It was raw, uncommercial and had great indie bands who were starting out.

MySpace, Habbo Hotel, Neopets and Limewire, sigh.
