You misunderstand. Anthropic is now enforcing its rules against OpenClaw use in Claude Code subscriptions and requiring you to use API rates instead.

  I understand that. This is kinda separate. They also force you to use api rates for a chat if you just mention OpenClaw at in the system prompt even if you're using native claude code which is what is shown in the image.

    I don't think it's separate. It might be a hamfisted fix but it seems fair game. Claude code subscriptions are for their CC product, which will not have this in the system prompt. If this is a dealbreaker, don't use Claude code.
    I would be alarmed if they started to ban OpenClaw from the API.
