    It is especially intriguing that this is happening in the country where there is no way to physically control the population: there are no borders, it is in Schengen, everyone is free to come and go at will, and adjacent countries have free political expression and a wide range of dominating ideologies (or no dominating one, in case of Croatia).

    There is no way to have gulags or arbitrary executions or penal psychiatric hospitals.

    The entire dictatorship play happens purely in informational space.

      Which is why it's important that Tisza are holding rallies across the country. It turns out this (very old) technique is important again when online spaces are filled with slopaganda.

        Quite honestly i don't think Tisza is a lot better. They will be somewhat better simply because state will temporarily become weaker due to change of people in power.

        Hungary is an authoritarian nation. It was a mistake to invite it into the free world, it should've been kept away like Serbia.
