    Interesting article. Fails to say that very basic economics are at the heart of missile defense: interceptors are a finite, limited, resource. Defenders decide how to allocate that resource. Completely economic.

    "Adaptation" pulled me up short. I think "adapting" would be a better fit, but "adaptation" is in line with US speakers adding weird syllables according to syntax rules, like "commentator" instead of "commentor". What's next? "Adaptationing", I suppose.
