    Hi HN! I built Customermates as an open-source, self-hostable CRM.

    I was frustrated with existing tools like Pipedrive and HubSpot — they often felt too complex, restrictive, or expensive as teams grow.

    The idea is to keep the CRM as a simple system of record, while integrations, automation tools (like Zapier or n8n), and AI agents handle the customization and heavy lifting around it.

    It also includes self-healing API endpoints to make integrations more resilient.
