I guarantee you, they will only speak up AFTER they have extracted their millions from these AI companies; either on secondaries, IPOs or acquisitions.
Since there is too much money in this bubble, these insiders need their exit first.
Even when they have done that, you still cannot trust them.

  I somewhat agree on the incentive structure, but I'd push back a little on the "never trust them" part. The reality is that most people inside these companies genuinely believe in what they're building. It's not all cynical.
