    Hi HN,

I’m back with an update to CardSnap. Since my last post, we’ve moved from a simple "print-only" tool to a more robust study engine, currently helping around 200 students daily prepare for exams.

The project started because I wanted a better way to quiz my kids without drowning in a mountain of loose papers. Today, we’ve released Version 2 with a focus on flexibility and better content generation.

    What’s New in v2:

Complete Design Overhaul: A cleaner, faster UI designed for both desktop note-taking and mobile review.

Multi-Format Cognitive Testing: Move beyond simple front/back cards. The AI now generates three distinct testing modes (Multiple Choice, Yes/No, and Free Answer) to challenge the student’s recall from different angles and prevent "passive" memorization.

Direct Edit & Update: You can now fully edit your decks after they are generated, refining the AI’s output before you study or print.

Mobile-First Web App: No app store needed. Every deck generates a unique, shareable link. Students can study on their phone during a commute or share the URL with classmates for group revision.

Expanded Language Support: Improved OCR and generation for multilingual students (essential for our users in international/European schools).

    The Roadmap (Upcoming):

Social Validation (Stars & Reviews): We are introducing a reputation system where the most accurate, student-vetted decks rise to the top, creating a community-driven library of peer-reviewed study materials.

Collaborative Editing: Allowing multiple students to contribute to a single master deck.

We are a small team building this based on real-world academic hurdles, and we'd love to get your feedback on the "No-Login" flow and the quality of the card generation.
