Seven years ago I connected with a recruiter that seemed normal at first then got surreal. After a normal intro interview, he started sending me lists of names. Long lists, hundreds of entries, no context, just full name, asking me to identify anyone that I might recognize. (I recognized none, zero.) I gave him a chance to explain and the response was vapid. After the third list, I broke off contact, told him it was weird behavior and I didn’t want to be associated with it or him.
