    Lower taxes, lower salaries. Possibly lower expenses as well, but I’m unfamiliar with relative health etc costs in the us anymore. If they need high tech workers and can’t get them in Georgia, they can look in Japan or elsewhere for a high tech cluster. Their clientele might be better reflected in the southeast, which will help marketing and support.
