  Don't believe or trust what they are saying. It's by design and a deliberate act of narcissism.
  These people in reality are complete psychopaths and feed on others caring about them. That goes for anyone else writing performative letters on lecturing others about principles but will immediately abandon them and sell their souls for the right price.
