Reminder: Anthropic are not your friends and they are worse than the rest of the labs (The only one that has no open weight model) and continues to using safety as a control mechanism whilst attempting to get open weight models that compete against them banned in the US.
Even with the events of forcing Opencode and others to use their expensive API and very secretly increasing prices on certain features, do not be surprised to see them pull the rug on prices directly in the open.
It is no wonder why they need to do performative acts like this post and screaming the loudest about doomsaying on open weight models actually competing against Anthropic.
