I recently built an experimental app that combines AI with the symbolic system of the I Ching (Book of Changes).
The idea is not to predict the future, but to create a reflection tool. Users can ask a question, the system generates a hexagram, and the AI produces an interpretation that explores possible perspectives on the situation.
The I Ching has been used for thousands of years as a framework for understanding change and decision-making. I was curious whether modern language models could help translate its symbolic meanings into something more accessible for everyday reflection.
The app currently includes: - hexagram generation - oracle-style interpretations - deeper analysis through a "Full Insight" mode - a small knowledge library about the I Ching
