Seagull's my pet project outside of my dayjob, and I use it to learn languages, immerse myself on them, talk to people that don't speak my language (e.g. my in-laws don't speak my language and I don't speak theirs), and all features I ship are based on my own needs (and people's feedback, but mostly my own needs).
