I'll hope for the best from here. There's no way to give the needed (and extreme) advice, as it's illegal to do so. Perhaps this is now your only option? You know what happens to YouTubers once they get doxxed, for "fun". Right, perhaps keep them occupied and if you'll get a chance to talk some more. No idea (!?) what could be the right approach... if they're paranoid, or whatever. Then with some luck, more time can give them a different perspective (doubtful, IK)
Anyway, wish them all the best and for you to manage and salvage whatever's left. Maybe they can even meet someone to take their mind off of things.
(Show them a true crime show, there's those girls in South America where they rob and drug visiting foreignes. Some die from strong dosages. Find what may be relevant to them to show.)
