A while ago, I discovered some underrated anime. I loved it so much that I wanted everyone to watch it. I decided that the best way to promote it would be to produce a similar but more popular show, created by the same talents. So far, I managed to:
- Sell a product nobody wanted to buy, widely considered a flop, hated by almost everyone - Meet an independent investor for this project - Secure a soft commitment - Pitch to and impress a talented anime producer
And all of this - while being a total nobody, nowhere, with no past industry experience, no connections, not knowing the language, and suffering from a mental health condition. I am probably the first person in history who did something like this.
I am not going to hide that it is also a self-promotional article - in the end, it's about a personal accomplishment. To be honest, I am still afraid of public judgement, but I hope that you will enjoy reading and find something to learn here.
