Idea brewed in my mind for the past few months which eventually led me to start building my own 'ultimate' editor, purely based on my subjective sensibilities when it comes to writing, editing, and code. This is the output: Inkwell - Single exe (11 MB), Tauri v2, vanilla JS, no framework. Drop it anywhere, run it, write. Close it, your stuff's back up (np++/notepad), quicksave, ctrl+n... there's no accounts or passwords, but it's more 'yours' then if it had. It's just made as I think it should be.
The editor is free forever, the 'business' part is the gate on the PDF/HTML exports for $19, one time purchase, including whatever I come up with in the future as well (LaTeX, maybe vim keybindings, a lot of nice options...)
First 100 licenses for the full build are free: https://4worlds.gumroad.com/l/inkwell/
