Will this save money for Apple or result in lower prices for US purchasers? I can imagine the former, particularly vs. tariffs, but if it doesn't do the latter, so what? It's not like Apple is struggling and needs help to keep going.
They chose a minor product to move to the US as a political token. The low-volume Mac Pro has been made here since 2013, but that was not mentioned for some reason.
