I did finally get a T-Deck Pro to join & see what would-be-fellow Meshtastic users are doing. The stock firmware is so so. The Meshtastic experience is that I just use my phone because it's so rough to use. Battery life is less than I was expecting by far, leaving it plugged in to a 100Whr bank will drain it in ~2 days.

I really hope we see some neat higher level embedded OS emerge. Ideally off a well connected base like Zephyr. It's been a bit deflating seeing just how limited these environments are.
