    I think this is jumping the gun a bit, as many of these projects could stall or fail if AI funding dries up, but still it’s interesting to see that there is real progress happening. There is no reason we should not be producing chips here.

    There is a small chance we can halt our decline if we keep reshoring manufacturing capacity like this. (I suspect some level of further decline is inevitable, but we need to put a floor on it somehow, and manufacturing is probably the way to do it.)
