What's the copyright situation with music models? I was always under the impression that it will be political pressure and lawsuits by the existing labels that will be the biggest hindrance in the adoption of AI music models, rather than technical progress, which I do not doubt will inevitably make superhuman music, if it is not already better than the average pop song.
AI music has ruined the coffees shop experience. I love working at cafes and heavy-handed enforcement of copyright law has led to every cafe around me playing AI music, over and over and over. It's so demoralizing.
Ofc the overzealous music associations play a heavy role here too but AI music is not the solution
The music sounds great, but there's a reason most of the samples are non-english. Human songwriters aren't going anywhere as long as AI remains this god awful at lyrics.
