I built HiYo because I kept wondering two things:
1) How much of what I’m reading online is AI-generated? 2) Why is the web still mostly a single-player experience?
HiYo does two things:
• Detects AI-written text directly on webpages (runs on-device) - Select any text on a webpage, right-click, and check if it was written by AI. Uses both statistical analysis and on-device ML. • Lets you chat anonymously with others browsing the same site
No accounts. No email. Just open a page and see if others are there.
The AI detection runs locally in the browser — no text is sent to a server.
I’m especially curious about: – Do you think AI detection is useful long-term? – Would you ever use a live chat layer on websites?
Would love brutal feedback.
