I always like seeing Forth submissions and TFA is one of the sources I referenced when I first started getting into Forth, but I think the bias towards Forth being primarily useful because it is small and easy to port, harms Forth more than it helps it, same with the emphasis put on the repl and interactive development. Forth always getting reduced to these few tricks keeps most from ever seeing it as the high level language it really is. If I were a blogger I would write a long blog post about the joys and power of using a well developed and mature Forth like gforth and developing through source files instead of interactively on the repl, but I am not a blogger so I will just make my occasional short rant on HN. Small and easy to port is not of much use to most devs, lets start advocating Forth in context of most devs instead of the tiny minority.
